Zinemateka Azkuna Zentroa: "Filmmakers Of The Transition: Stories Of A Country In Transformation (1976–1984)"
A film series at AZ Azkuna Zentroa in Bilbao devoted to Spanish cinema of the Transition, featuring six key works: Cría cuervos by Carlos Saura, El diputado by Eloy de la Iglesia, Vámonos, Bárbara by Cecilia Bartolomé, El crimen de Cuenca by Pilar Miró, Función de noche by Josefina Molina and ¿Qué he hecho yo para merecer esto? by Pedro Almodóvar. The series explores memory, censorship, desire, feminist perspectives and new cinematic languages. From 2 to 19 November 2026, Mondays and Thursdays at 17:00, 19:00 or 19:30. Tickets: €5.
