Zinemakumeak gara! 2026: Workshop: "Female rage in film and series"
A workshop within Zinemakumeak gara! 2026 exploring how film and audiovisual media have portrayed women's anger, an emotion long frowned upon in them. The journey runs from La heredera (1951) to Una joven prometedora (2020), taking in Thelma and Louise, 1970s rape revenge films, the figure of the witch and today's streaming series. It is led by Itxaso del Castillo Aira, lecturer at the UPV/EHU and author of the essay Mujeres furiosas, winner of the 2025 Euskadi Literature Prize. On 24 October 2026, 10:30 to 13:30, at the Centro Municipal de Ibaiondo (Palacio Yohn - La Bolsa), Bilbao. Price: €12.
