"Zanbuila"

Zanbuila is a theatre piece by the collective Lolak kolektiboa that sets out to bring forward the faces and voices of women who usually go unseen and unheard, with sisterhood at its core. It follows Itziar, a 39-year-old nurse in the middle of an existential crisis, whose encounter through work with a woman from another generation and her daughter leads her to rethink her life. The play grew out of interviews with women from the coast. Performed by Irene Hernando, Amaia Ruiz de Galarreta and Esti Curiel, with artistic support from Dejabu konpainia and outside eye Iraia Elias.
