X Coordenadas fest! Cat care calling
Part of X Coordenadas fest!, the performance Cat care calling explores street harassment passed off as "compliments". Drawing on video interviews conducted by Menchetti, it becomes a study of gesture: Ranieri embodies, with irony and drama, the voices and movements of both those targeted and those who catcall, questioning involvement and responsibility. Through repetition and the breaking down of gesture, the piece asks how violence might be turned into care. It takes place on 10 October 2026 at 7:00 pm at Centro Cultural Clara del Rey - Museo ABC (Centro) in Madrid. Admission is free.
