"Tresors del Monestir" tours
A guided tour of the Monestir de Sant Esteve in Banyoles, the monastery from which the town grew. The visit centres on two notable 15th-century works of Catalan Gothic art kept there, the altarpiece of Santa Maria de l’Escala and the reliquary casket of Sant Martirià, and also explains what life in the monastery was like. Suitable for ages 7 and up. Sessions on Saturday 26 September and Sunday 25 October at 5 pm. Paid activity; advance registration required.
