Guided tour. Real Gabinete: a journey to the origins of the Museum
To mark the anniversary of the Museum's founding by Charles III in 1771, the Museo Nacional de Ciencias Naturales in Madrid offers an interactive tour of the Real Gabinete on 17 October, with two 50-minute sessions at 12:00 and 13:00. Through historical pieces and a game of observing and identifying emblematic specimens, participants will learn how the collections were built, from the Museum's origins to the great scientific expeditions of the 19th and 20th centuries. Open to the general public, children aged 8 and over. Prior registration is required.
