I spy, I spy… what don't you see?
Theatre company Pez Luna brings a show of spoken word, song and poetry to the Biblioteca Pública de León on Thursday 29 October at 18:30, focusing on women left unseen by history and by language. Built on the idea that what goes unnamed does not exist, and guided by Eduardo Galeano, it gives voice to figures such as Hypatia of Alexandria, Teresa of Ávila and Juana Inés de la Cruz. A clown's eye looks at how women appear in today's press and in the visual arts, before inviting reflection on roles imposed by oral tradition. Expect humour, poetry and open questions. Free admission until full.
