Vanishing Tracks

This documentary follows Valiollah and Dorna, a nomadic couple in Iran trying to hold on to their bond with the land, their flock and a way of life passed down through generations, as settlement spreads and their children look towards the city. The theft of some of their animals widens a gap that was already growing. Intimate and contemplative, the film considers what is lost when progress severs the ties between community, memory and landscape. Madrid premiere at Cineteca Madrid on 23 October 2026 at 8:30 pm.
