"Una historia de Bilbao" (premiere)
Premiere at Bilbao's Teatro Arriaga of a play that looks back with humour and nostalgia at an industrial Basque Country that is gone for good. Two actors, Asier Hormaza and Lander Otaola, tell a hundred years in the life of a Basque family, shifting between many characters amid polluted estuaries, local Bilbao humour, Basque dialects and political troubles, with nods to classics such as Hook, Labyrinth and A Christmas Carol. Directed by Ramón Ibarra, written by Lander Otaola, with music by Iñaki Maruri; produced by Aitato Producciones. Performances on Friday 23 October 2026 at 19:30 and Saturday at 19:00. Tickets: €18.
