A legacy. Cortot- Thibaud-Casals — Trio Freixas
Trio Freixas gives the second concert of its artistic residency at the Auditori Municipal Enric Granados in Lleida on 12 November 2026 at 8 pm. Marking the 150th anniversary of Pau Casals's birth, the programme revisits the works from the historic recordings he made a century ago with Alfred Cortot and Jacques Thibaud, a trio founded in 1906 that became a benchmark of 20th-century chamber music. The performers are Tatevik Khachatryan (violin), Laia Puig (cello) and Alba Ventura (piano), an ensemble honouring composer Narcisa Freixas and promoting music by women composers. Tickets: €15 / €11.50.
