"Txondor plaza" (Geuretik sortuak)
Txondor Plaza is a street theatre and circus show honouring the memory of charcoal burners, a trade central to the recent history of the Navarrese valleys. It blends theatre, circus techniques, original music, puppets and live set design, turning the charcoal burners' daily world – the charcoal kiln, the hut, the hills, the smoke and the firewood – into stage material. The charcoal burner stands as a symbol of effort, solitude, resilience and knowledge passed down through generations. The performance takes place in Gorliz on 30 October 2026 at 18:30, and admission is free.
