"Txondor plaza"
Txondor Plaza is a street theatre-circus show that brings back the memory of charcoal burners, a trade central to the recent history of the Navarrese valleys. The production blends theatre, circus techniques, original music, puppets and living set design, turning the charcoal burner's everyday world into stage material: the charcoal kiln (txondorra), the hut (etxola), the mountains, the smoke and the firewood. The charcoal burner stands as a symbol of resilience, effort, solitude, closeness to nature and knowledge passed down through generations. The performance takes place on 4 December 2026 at 18:00 at Landetxe Kultur Aretoa in Oiartzun. Tickets: €6.
