"Txepeldunak"
"Txepeldunak" is a children's theatre piece built around bertsos, Basque improvised verse, performed by bertsolaris Uxue Alkorta and Maren Basterretxea. It follows a child who is sad after losing a game and angry at the ball because he always wants to win, but who gradually learns that the street and the schoolyard have room for many other games and that competing is not always necessary. The lively, playful show mixes verses, couplets and other stage techniques. It is organised by the Malerreka Commonwealth, with cultural mediation by Lanku Bertso Zerbitzuak. It takes place in Ituren on 24 October 2026 at 17:30.
