Thalatha
Thalatha is a jazz trio featuring Marta Payeras on piano, Javier Gómez on double bass and Pablo Ortiz on drums, the second of four projects selected for the Impulso 2026 programme. The group blends personal takes on jazz standards, influenced by trios such as those of Bill Evans, Keith Jarrett and Brad Mehldau, with original pieces drawing on the traditional music of their home regions. During this artistic residency they are developing compositions and arrangements of popular tunes in search of a distinctive sound. Performing on 9 October 2026 at JAZZON Aretoa in Bilbao, with sets at 19:30, 20:30 and 21:30. Tickets: 10 / 12 €.
