"Teresa Y Juana" (Premiere)
World premiere at Teatro Gayarre in Pamplona on 8 December 2026 at 19:00. Written by Julia Montejo and co-directed with Josune Iglesias, the play brings Saint Teresa of Ávila and Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz face to face with a present-day young woman struggling against her own body. Played by Itziar Miranda and Rosa Nagore, the two nuns discuss faith, knowledge, desire and the shifting ways women have been controlled throughout history, from baroque cloisters to digital loneliness. Running time is 70 minutes; produced by Caminante Blanco Producciones. Tickets cost 6 € and 12 €.
