"Teoría King Kong"
The company La Virgueria brings to the stage Virginie Despentes's 2006 essay, a key reference work of feminism and gender theory. Adapted by M. Àngels Cabré, directed by Isis Martín and performed by Maria Pau Pigem, this monologue draws on the author's own experience to speak frankly about prostitution, rape, repressed desire, motherhood and pornography. Set on a stage design that is built and dismantled at once, the production uses live camera, projections, LED lighting and soundscapes. The performance takes place at AZ Azkuna Zentroa in Bilbao at 7 pm and lasts 75 minutes. Tickets: €19.
