Theatre. El sí de las niñas
The cultural and theatre association La Farándula de San Ginés stages El sí de las niñas, Leandro Fernández de Moratín's comedy criticising arranged marriages. Doña Paquita, promised by her mother to the much older Don Diego, secretly loves Don Carlos; when Don Diego finds out, he steps aside in favour of freedom of choice. The company grew out of the amateur group of the Escuela de Teatro de Aparejadores Madrid, led by Natalia Fisac. The roughly 90-minute performance takes place on 10 October 2026 at 7 pm at Centro Cultural el Torito (Moratalaz). Admission is free.
