"Sutearen ondoren", exhibition by Garazi Markina

Garazi Markina presents "Sutearen ondoren" at the exhibition hall of Leioa Town Council from 8 to 22 October, with free admission. The project grew out of a journey through areas of Castilla y León hit by the wildfires of summer 2025. Rather than explaining the fires from a technical or political angle, it focuses on what remained after the flames: wounded landscapes, villages covered in ash, homes left in haste and the people who live with that damage. It offers a look at the climate emergency beyond the headlines, for anyone interested in the land and its people.
