"Sidari"

Theatre company Xake Produkzioak brings Sidari to the Gezala Auditoriuma in Lezo on 31 January 2027. The play follows Jone and Jokin, a couple in their thirties who have been together for eight years and set off on an interrail trip across Europe. He is content, while she wonders whether Jokin is truly the one. On the train they meet a peculiar elderly couple who suggest swimming across the Sidari canal on Corfu, where couples are said to pledge eternal love. As the days pass, Jone begins to suspect that these strangers might be themselves, four decades on.
