"Sidari"

Theatre company Xake Produkzioak brings Sidari to the Amaia Antzokia in Mondragón on 19 December 2026. The play follows Jone and Jokin, a couple in their thirties who have been together for eight years and set off across Europe by interrail. He is content, while she wonders whether he is really the one. On the train they meet an unusual elderly couple who urge them to swim across the Sidari canal on Corfu, said to bind couples in eternal love. As the trip goes on, Jone begins to suspect something hard to explain rationally: what if the old pair are themselves, four decades on?
