"Sidari"

Theatre company Xake Produkzioak brings Sidari to Baztartxo Udal Antzokia in Azkoitia on 24 October 2026. The play follows Jone and Jokin, a couple in their thirties who have been together for eight years and set off on an interrail trip across Europe. He is content, while she wonders whether he is really the one. On the train they meet an unusual elderly couple who urge them to swim across the Sidari canal on Corfu, said to bind lovers forever. As the journey goes on, Jone begins to suspect the old couple may be themselves, four decades on.
