Session II
Cineteca Madrid devotes this session to three works by artist Eugènia Balcells. Fuga (1979) explores the relationship between image, space and time using a Bolex camera rotating inside a room divided into twelve sections. Indian Circle (1981) is a video performance by musician Peter Van Riper, shot in a single take and in real time. Going through Languages (1981) sets the Miss Universe selection beside a woman's daily chores on two screens to examine gender roles. The session is introduced by Noni Benegas, a feminist poet, writer and translator who collaborated with the artist. 15 October 2026 at 7:00 pm. Paid admission.
