A screening devoted to the work of Eugènia Balcells at Cineteca Madrid on 14 October 2026 at 7:00 pm. Three films from 1978 are shown: FIN, a collection of one hundred endings from romantic photo-novels exposing the clichés of romantic love; Boy Meets Girl, in which over a thousand images from newspapers and advertising are paired like a slot machine to form archetypal couples; and 133, co-directed with Eugeni Bonet, which matches found footage to the sounds of a sound-effects LP to reveal the ideological manipulation of editing. Introduced by Pablo Marín, curator of the Confesionario series. Paid admission.
