"Saudade"
A photography exhibition by Carolina Cubero at Centro Cívico Zabalgana in Vitoria-Gasteiz, running from 1 to 18 October 2026. Named after the Portuguese word for a nostalgia mixed with gratitude for what was lived, the show uses images as a bridge to memory and absence, inviting visitors to find their own saudade. The project won the 2nd Jardín Remoto Photography Competition. The artist trained at the Vitoria-Gasteiz School of Arts and Crafts and at Jardín Remoto, and is a member of the cultural association La Lokala. The exhibition is part of the ONGI ETORRI BIZILAGUNAK project, which showcases emerging artists living in the neighbourhood.
