Samuel Ros: un nombre en el azulejo (presentation)
Vicente Javier Mengó Lloret presents his book on Valencian writer Samuel Ros Pardo (1904-1945), winner of the National Literature Prize in 1943, at the Biblioteca Pública de León at 7 pm. The book offers previously unpublished biographical details and an anthology of Ros's youthful journalism, published in Las Provincias between 1922 and 1927. A teacher in Valencia, the author searched numerous archives and spoke with the writer's relatives to bring back this short-story writer, novelist and playwright praised by Azorín and Camilo José Cela. Aimed at interested readers, secondary and university students. Free admission until full.
