Rose — By Martin Sherman
Carme Sansa plays Rose in this dramatic monologue by Martin Sherman, adapted and directed by Daniel Anglès. At 80, Rose, born in a small Ukrainian village, looks back on a life shaped by the 20th century: from the Warsaw ghettos to the American dream, a struggle to survive in the face of fanaticism. First staged at London's National Theatre in 1999 and later a success in the West End and on Broadway, the play feels strikingly relevant today. Performance on 18 October 2026 at 6:30 pm at Sala Polivalent Pau Casals in Montgat. Tickets: €4. Part of Programa.cat.
