European Heritage Days 2026 programme in Bizkaia

Throughout October 2026, Bizkaia hosts the 26th edition of the European Heritage Days, coordinated by the Diputación Foral de Bizkaia under the motto Gure eskuetan. Heritage in our hands. More than 270 free activities across 77 municipalities, run by 172 organisers including cultural associations, museums and town councils, focus on the risks facing cultural heritage and the shared need to protect it. The programme features guided visits and routes through landscapes, mining sites, farmhouses and harbour areas, talks and round tables, workshops for different age groups, exhibitions, screenings, concerts and theatrical tours.
