Getxophoto 2027 programme
Getxophoto, the International Image Festival, holds its 21st edition in Getxo from 27 May to 20 June 2027, across various public spaces in the town. This year's theme is "tide". For the tenth year running, the festival is inviting visual artists worldwide to submit projects in photography, video, installation, performance, digital art or any other visual medium. A jury made up of Monica Allende, Victoria Ismach, John Fleetwood and Cale Garrido will choose three winning projects to be included in the festival programme. Last year's call drew 533 projects from artists in 48 countries. Submissions close on 3 November 2026.
