Presentation of the book "Los Williams" by Vero Gómez
Navarrese journalist Vero Gómez presents and signs her book "Los Williams" at the Fórum of FNAC Bilbao. The book tells the story of Iñaki and Nico Williams, Athletic Club players: their parents' emigration from Ghana, the brothers' upbringing between Pamplona and Bilbao, their sporting success and their experience of racism. Gómez has covered Athletic Club for Radio Bilbao at Cadena SER since 2012 and won the Lilí Álvarez award in 2023. A meeting for football fans and readers drawn to personal stories. Wednesday 14 October at 7 pm. Free entry while space lasts.
