Book presentation: Las calles de Madrid by Víctor de la Serna. Tribute to the author.
On Wednesday 28 October at 6:00 pm, the Museo de Historia de Madrid hosts the presentation of Las calles de Madrid by Víctor de la Serna, an event that also pays tribute to the journalist, who died in 2024. The book gathers and updates the columns he wrote about his home city, comparing past and present of its best-known streets and squares in a precise, slightly ironic style and sharing anecdotes many Madrid residents do not know. A co-founder of the newspaper El Mundo, he worked for over five decades in fields ranging from sports journalism to food criticism. Admission is free until capacity is reached, and copies will be available at the museum's bookshop.
