Presentation of the book "La mirada del Cid"
José Ramón Ayllón presents his latest book, "La mirada del Cid", an accessible work that places the Campeador in medieval Spain and Europe, amid the long struggle between Moors and Christians, and lets the Cantar that made him world-famous speak for itself. Drawing on the findings of respected researchers, it portrays historical reality without resorting to fiction. The author will be joined by Ignacio González de Santiago. Held with the collaboration of the Asociación Provincial de Libreros de Burgos, the event takes place in the multipurpose room (basement) of the Biblioteca Pública de Burgos from 19:00 to 20:30. Open to all audiences, free entry until full.
