Presentation of the book 'Don Antonio Acuña, obispo y capitán'
José María Calvo Andrés presents his historical novel at the Biblioteca Pública de León. Its protagonist is Don Antonio Acuña, the bishop who served as a captain of the Castilian comuneros. Through him, the book portrays life and customs in 15th- and 16th-century Castile, the coexistence of three cultures, and themes such as love, friendship and loyalty set against envy, disloyalty and betrayal. Tuesday 27 October at 7 pm. Free admission until the venue is full.
