Book presentation: "Yakaar" (Cheikh Mbacke Lo)
Cheikh Mbacke Lo, a Senegalese man living in Altsasu since 2008, presents his book Yakaar at Portalea in Eibar. It is an autobiographical account of a harsh reality and of a journey from which many never return. The author describes the book as a bridge that gives memory to people too often reduced to numbers or headlines, and as a call to see one another first as human beings. The event takes place on 24 October 2026 at 18:00, and admission is free.
