Presentation of the book "La mochila. Vida de Muñagorri" by Ander Izagirre
Journalist Ander Izagirre presents his book "La mochila. Vida de Muñagorri" at Bidebarrieta Kulturgunea in Bilbao. The book follows the life of Alberto Muñagorri, who at the age of 10 was injured in 1982 when a backpack bomb left by ETA in a square in Rentería exploded, costing him a leg and the sight in one eye. His story repeatedly intersects with the violent history of the Basque Country over the past half century. The event takes place on 23 November 2026 at 19:00, and admission is free.
