Book presentation: "Cuando los gais perdimos el miedo" (Jordi Petit)

Veteran Catalan activist Jordi Petit, a long-standing voice for equality and the rights of LGTBIQA+ people, presents his latest book, "Cuando los gais perdimos el miedo", together with Gehitu. The book looks back on his childhood, youth and early years of activism during the final years of Franco's regime and the Transition. The event takes place on 20 October 2026 at 18:30 at the Elkar bookshop on Calle Iparragirre in Bilbao. It will appeal to anyone interested in the history of the LGTBIQA+ movement and Spain's recent past.
