Póstumo
Cineteca Madrid screens Póstumo (2026), written and directed by Mexican filmmaker Lucía Carreras as part of the Focus México programme. The story follows Dolores and Luis, whose meeting is only possible through magical realism: as each discovers who the other is, they confront their family bond and the painful past they share. Born in Mexico City in 1973, Carreras also made Nos vemos, papá and Tamara y la Catarina, wrote La Jaula de Oro and Año Bisiesto, and was the first president of Tinta. The screening is on 7 November 2026; admission is paid.
