At Christmas, originality means returning to the origin — Escolania de Montserrat + Orquestra Simfònica del Vallès
The Sagrada Família closes the year with a Christmas celebration of music and light, open to the public. The Escolania de Montserrat choir and the Orquestra Simfònica del Vallès will open the evening with Catalan Christmas carols full of emotion and spirituality. The Nativity Façade will then take centre stage with a message of light celebrating birth, nature and the origin of creation, honouring the legacy of Antoni Gaudí. The event is part of the Gaudí Year commemoration. It takes place on 18 December 2026 at 7 pm in Barcelona, and admission is free.
