Palabra de perro — By Juan Mayorga
From 28 October to 8 November 2026, Barcelona's Teatre Romea stages Palabra de perro, Juan Mayorga's play based on Cervantes' El coloquio de los perros. Directed by Rakel Camacho, it features Cecilia Solaguren and Jimmy Castro as Cipión and Berganza, two dogs gifted with speech who wryly observe human flaws and contradictions, with Jorge Kent playing several characters. Blending humour and critique, the play questions truth, justice and morality. Performed in Spanish and recommended for ages 13 and up. Tuesday to Friday at 7:30 pm, Saturdays at 5 pm and 8 pm, Sundays at 6 pm; running time about 1 hour 40 minutes. Tickets from €17.25.
