Orishas
Ensemble Contratemps presents Orishas, a concert directed by Cuban viola da gamba player Lixsania Fernández that links Afro-Cuban spiritual music and sacred Yoruba chants with Spanish Renaissance and Baroque polyphony, including historical dances such as the zarambeque and the chacona. Seven musicians perform live, among them singer Teresa Yanet and Frank Pereira on the Cuban tres. A 60-minute family show in Spanish, on 10 October 2026 at 20:00 at the Centro de Artes Avenida de Cintruénigo. Tickets: €5.00.
