Where are the chestnuts? (or the snails' rebellion) — Cia. Cinc Cèntims Teatre
Cinc Cèntims Teatre brings a family-friendly, interactive street show to the Plaça del Pati in Valls, set during the Castanyada, Catalonia's chestnut festival. The chestnuts the Castanyera was about to sell in the square have vanished, and the four characters, the Castanyera, the Gat Marrameu, the Gegant Castanyer and the Bruixa del Moniato, all blame one another for the theft. Will the children be left without their celebration? The performance takes place on 30 October 2026 at 5:30 pm and is free. Part of Programa.cat, supported by the Generalitat de Catalunya and the Catalan provincial councils.
