"Nekatuta eta haserre", exhibition by Ziortza Larreategi Gómez
La Sinsorga, kulturgune feminista in Bilbao, hosts this free exhibition by Ziortza Larreategi Gómez (Histerika Irudigintza) from 8 October to 8 November 2026. It brings together the few surviving works from an early series, painted when the artist did not yet live from her art and was not trying to please or sell, which gave her greater freedom. Many pieces from that series were painted over, sold or given away. In those that remain, the women depicted still look out tired and angry. The exhibition opening takes place on 8 October at 19:30.
