Narratives of the Fantastic (2026-2027): "Fox 8" (George Saunders)
The final session of the 2026-2027 season of the Narratives of the Fantastic book club focuses on "Fox 8" by George Saunders. The novel follows a dreamy fox who learns human language by listening to bedtime stories, then sets out on a dangerous journey when a shopping mall threatens his pack; it is both a love letter to humans and a call to care for the environment. Led by the HEVENDAY association and the TR42872 comparative literature research team of EHU/UPV, the session takes place on 4 May at 19:00 in the Orisol room of the Casa de Cultura Ignacio Aldecoa in Vitoria-Gasteiz. Languages: Spanish, Basque and English. Free admission.
