Musika Bizian 2026: Faltriqueira + Kalakan
A double bill from the Musika Bizian 2026 festival in Galdakao on 30 October 2026 at 21:30, free of charge. Faltriqueira, five women from Pontedeume in Galicia, perform Galician traditional music built on voices and tambourines; their 2002 album featured Basque musicians Oskorri and Kepa Junkera. They share the stage with Kalakan, formed in Hendaye in 2009, who sing in Basque and give folk songs minimalist arrangements for voice and percussion, adding fresh rhythms and touches of pop and rock.
