"Mujeres Que Cantan Tras El Balcón"
A Spanish-language stage piece in which an actress talks with the grandmother she never met, trying to understand how, after the war, she turned her neighbours into an audience and her kitchen into a stage. Through her questions she discovers what of her grandmother, and of that generation of women, lives on in her. Directed by Adriana Salvo, the show blends autobiography, documentary theatre and object theatre into a tribute to women's expression that sits somewhere between story, play and concert.
