"Mikra"
Mikra is a circus piece in which two acrobats, Irati Gonzalez Jaimerena and Koldo Arakistain Irazusta, strive for a "perfect" act and run into disagreements and a lack of empathy. Using acrobatic disciplines as its language, the show challenges role and gender stereotypes and exposes power relations, touching on parenthood, sexuality and identity, with mutual care at its core. It is directed by Amancay Gaztañaga and Iraia Elias Muniain. The 40-minute performance takes place in Azpeitia at 12:00, and admission is free.
