Mercedes Ruiz and Santiago Lara
Dancer Mercedes Ruiz and guitarist Santiago Lara, two leading names in Jerez flamenco, perform DUAL, a show with more than 60 performances across Europe, Asia and America. Drawing on nearly 25 years of shared career and life, the piece sets guitar and dance in an equal dialogue, featuring Ramón Montoya's Rondeña, a seguiriya by Manuel Morao, Sabicas's farruca "Punta y Tacón" and the duo's own transcription of Pablo de Sarasate's zapateado. It takes place on 23 October 2026 at 20:00 at D8 Sorkuntza Faktoria in Bilbao. Tickets: €20 / €25.
