Mecenaten

Screening of Mecenaten, part of the International Competition at Cineteca Madrid. A cleaner longing for a more exciting life poses one night as an art patron and lures two art students to her employer's empty house; carried away by her newfound power, she sinks deeper into a deception that threatens serious consequences. The screening is followed by a talk with director Julia Thelin, a Stockholm filmmaker whose short films have screened at Cannes, Toronto, the Berlinale and Clermont-Ferrand. Paid admission.
