Maskak + Gere
A double bill on 19 December at 22:00 at Sanagustin Kulturgunea in Azpeitia, with tickets at 13 €. Maskak, a quartet of friends from Itsasu and Bidarri who started out as Kakolak playing rock at Basque Country festivities, sing in Basque; they released Buruz buru in 2024 and return with new work after a break. Gere is the duo of Iñaki Gereñu (Peachy Joke) and Lander Zalakain (Belako), blending Basque melancholy with cinematic, synthwave-flavoured electronics built on synthesizers, guitars, processed vocals and danceable beats, with songs in Basque.
