Mary Halvorson
Brooklyn-based guitarist, composer and Nonesuch Records artist Mary Halvorson brings Canis Major, her new quartet devoted to previously unreleased compositions, to the Teatro Victoria Eugenia in San Sebastián. She is joined by Dave Adewumi on trumpet, Henry Fraser on bass and Tomas Fujiwara on drums. Known for her distinctive sound and inventive approach to the guitar, Halvorson received a MacArthur Fellowship in 2019 and has been named Guitarist of the Year by DownBeat critics for the past nine years. The concert takes place on 18 November 2026 at 19:30, with tickets at 20 €.
