Heritage Tuesdays 2026: "Trajes y modos de vestir en Euskal Herria"

Ane Albisu Iriarte opens the fourth edition of the Heritage Tuesdays lecture series with a talk on traditional dress in the Basque Country, and in Álava in particular. She will explain the different kinds of garments in order to explore the idea of native costume across the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries. The series, organised by the Restoration Service of the Provincial Council of Álava, focuses on the study and conservation of cultural heritage. The talk takes place on 27 October at 19:00 in the auditorium of the Casa de Cultura Ignacio Aldecoa in Vitoria-Gasteiz, and admission is open.
